Dean River is Northwest Sustainable Property’s direct response to the big sustainability question — what can we do to help? As Portland continues to work towards being a more bike‑, bus‑, pedestrian‑, and MAX-friendly city, NWSP decided to invest in this multi-modal evolution. Dean River is a transit-oriented development in the ideally-situated, growing Brooklyn neighborhood; it also donates to the Fresh Water Trust in order to help keep our rivers healthy.

Residents are able to reach downtown Portland in ten minutes via a MAX station across the street, and a variety of bike lanes make safe cycling more accessible. Within mere minutes walking, cycling, or busing, it’s easy to reach an eclectic mixture of local breweries, restaurants, parks, and movie and music venues. This development also offers much-needed market affordability, while incorporating a high-end approach to sustainable design and finishes.

Dean River provides units at a lower gross rent than new-construction alternatives and offers amenities, including a third-floor community deck, ample bike storage, and a large resident lounge.
